Publish and manage DDT standards

Once the standard has been approved by the forum, you'll be able to publish it from the Create and manage service.

You should plan comms about the standard before you publish, so that relevant communities and professions are aware of the new standard.

You will also need to tell the Service Health Check team (opens in new tab, DfE SharePoint user only) when you plan to publish. This is so the standard can be included in the Service Health Check App, to allow service teams to report compliance with the standard.

When you're ready for the standard to go live, you can publish it.

Manage DDT standards

As a standard owner, you can make changes to the standards through the Create and manage service. This includes making changes to owners and contacts, without getting reapproval.

If changes are made to approved and tolerated products, this will require the standard to go back through the approval process.
