Build trust

Working in a multidisciplinary team can be tough. Whilst a lot of work on team dynamics sits with the delivery manager, product managers should also get involved.

Building trust with your delivery manager and wider team will help. Make sure they know that you are the one responsible for the risks that the team take, and that you will pick up any fallout if it's the wrong decision.

Share standards

As product managers, we're responsible for making sure that things are done in the right way. You should know enough about each discipline to be able to make an intelligent challenge.
